This free event will be held at the State House Inn on 101 E. Adams Street in downtown Springfield from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Shoppers at the Winter Markets can expect to find 25 local vendors selling a wide variety of products, including pasture-raised meats, eggs, honey, cheese, greens, carrots, potatoes, turnips, radishes, sunchokes, and winter squashes.

In addition to farm-fresh products shoppers can find a variety of baked goods, wine, and unique local gifts. Hot lunch and smoothies featuring local ingredients will be available for purchase from Smart Natured Smoothies and kids activities will be provided by KIDDOS by Urban Sassafras, giving families an opportunity to shop while their kids play.

LINK cards will be accepted, and the Double Value Program offered by the Old Capitol Farmers Market will also be available thanks to a sponsorship from Central Baptist Church.  The church will provide a match of up to $25 for LINK recipients to use on fresh fruits and vegetables. This means LINK recipients can swipe their card for $25 and receive an additional $25 to use on produce, doubling their purchasing power and making wholesome holiday meals available to families across Springfield.
