Join Slow Food Springfield in our tradition of welcoming spring by feasting upon one of the most prized forages of the land, morel mushrooms. Chef Michael Higgins of Maldner’s will expertly craft a four-course meal. Explore with us on this splendid, culinary adventure. Come prepared to ask the Chef questions directly following the meal, the more perplexing, the better, Chef Higgins has yet to be stumped.
The event will be held on the 2nd floor at Maldaner’s. Arrive as early as 5:45pm. Dinner is served at 6:45.
Pricing of the meal includes tax, gratuity and a non-alcoholic beverage, a cash bar is available at your convenience.
In addition to the meal, bring cash and check books and check out the exciting selection of items at the silent auction. All proceeds go to help support Slow Food Springfield in the development of programming such as Kids Day at the Farm, a micro-grant coming soon to support a grow/educational organization and sponsorship of other fun educational events that emphasize the importance of supporting the local food movement.
